Tennessee Songwriters Month
Tennessee Songwriters Month is an annual statewide celebration of the songwriters and the craft that shaped Tennessee’s rich musical history. The mission of Tennessee Songwriters Month is to support music venues, create live performance opportunities for songwriters, and inspire travelers to experience the state's vibrant music stories.
Tennessee Songwriters Month 2027 supports music venues, creates live performance opportunities for songwriters, and inspires travelers to experience the state's vibrant music stories. Tennessee Songwriters Month will be an exciting one with qualifying rounds and showcases held across the state, culminating in a final performance at the world-famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
Important Dates
Qualifying Round Venue Sign-ups: Sept. 8 - Dec. 3, 2026
Songwriter Sign-ups: Begin Dec. 10, 2026
Qualifying Rounds: Jan. 24 - Feb. 6, 2027
Showcase Events: Feb. 21-27, 2027
Finale at the Bluebird Cafe: One winner from each showcase event will advance to a private finale at the Bluebird Cafe in March 2027.
